California law sets the bail bond rate at 10%, required for all bail bond agents in the state. Discounts below that are allowed when the surety company that guarantees the bond permits it and certain state conditions are met — that is what a 7% rate is.
How to get a 7% rate
If you have a job or a cosigner, you usually don’t need any collateral to qualify for 7% bail bonds — your job is your credit. Most of the time a cosigner is required, and both you and the cosigner will need a valid California ID and proof of current employment.
Discounts and bilingual service
Discounts are available for AARP members, union members, homeowners, law-enforcement members and family, military members, government workers, teachers, and existing clients and their families. All of the bail bond agents who work with Justice are bilingual; en Justice Bail Bonds, todos nuestros agentes hablan español con fluidez y pueden ayudarle a organizar fianzas para usted o para otra persona.
What we offer
The best rates on bail bonds in Riverside County, the ability to write large bail bonds over $2 million, payment plans, no-down bail bonds on approved credit, low monthly payments, all major credit cards, online payments and paperwork, military discounts, a bilingual staff, and 20 years of experience in the bail bond industry.
Watch the rate
California Insurance Code § 1800 caps the bail premium at 10% of the face amount of the bond — that’s the legal ceiling, not the minimum. Anything above 10% is illegal. Walk away from any bondsman who quotes above the cap, demands wired money before paperwork is signed, has no California Department of Insurance license number visible, or pressures you to decide in under a minute. A real bondsman walks the family through the math.
