Why use Justice Bail Bonds
The lowest bail bond rates allowed under the law. No hidden fees or annual charges. Interest-free financing on bail bonds (OAC). No collateral needed — your job is your credit. Military discounts for service members. All of our agents speak English and Spanish.
Zero-down and how rates work
Bail bond rates are generally about 10% of the total cost of bail; for a bail amount of $25,000, a bail bond will cost you $2,500. Upon approved credit, Justice can sometimes help you get out of jail without any money down. If you are a homeowner with equity that would cover the cost of the bond, or you have a cosigner who owns a home, we can often set up a payment plan that doesn’t require any money down.
Making a payment
Justice Bail Bonds accepts payments online, over the phone, or in person — whatever works best for you. We accept all major credit and debit cards and welcome wire transfers, money orders, and PayPal. Financing and payment plans are only available in California, on approved credit. Immigration and other federal bonds cannot be financed and must be paid in full.
Watch the rate
California Insurance Code § 1800 caps the bail premium at 10% of the face amount of the bond — that’s the legal ceiling, not the minimum. Anything above 10% is illegal. Walk away from any bondsman who quotes above the cap, demands wired money before paperwork is signed, has no California Department of Insurance license number visible, or pressures you to decide in under a minute. A real bondsman walks the family through the math.
